When comparing mobile parks be sure to always ask what lot-fees include. If you don’t you’ll assume a lower priced park costs less. Some park’s lot-fees don’t include utilities etc, but here they include your water/sewer utility bill (approx $100) and Telus cable/internet (approx $150). The lot fees are a total of $780 but if you compare all variables to the park everyone thinks has the lowest park fees, they balance out. Also, a big variable to factor in is taxes. Property taxes here are only $145 a year ($12/m). Some parks’ property taxes are well over $1000/year.
